John first moved to Gold Beach in 1966, and has been here full time since 1980.

An ex logger, John has been with Gold Beach Lumber since 1982.  Can you believe that his very first task was "finding the septic tank"?

John, what do you like most about your job?  
At the top of my list are the Customers and the Crew.  Everybody is great.  In addition I appreciate that each day is different.  I feel secure here and have confidence in the future.

How about your off time, what do you like to do?
I love Gold Beach and everything here.  Fishing of any kind gets my attention, either ocean or river.  And of course there is golf, and hunting, and basketball.

Reed Ringer, what do you have to say about John?
John is the BEST.  I'm darn glad to have him!

John has been married to Tina  since 1995 and is proud to bring Bandit to work everyday.
